Schedule: Full time, Sunday – Thursday (additional times as warranted for Special Events)
Overview: To lead and organize efforts that engage everyone, from first-time visitors to leaders, in taking their next steps.
Purpose: To serve The Heights Church by playing an instrumental role in the visitor/member experience. This person will oversee several areas of ministry and their respective volunteers: Dream Teams, Connect (New Member) Classes, Guest Central, Baptism team and the Coffee Bar area.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Recruit and assist leaders in building up strong teams.
- Organizing and setting up rooms for Connect classes, Baptism and events needing volunteers.
- Ensure campus teams preparedness for all activities and services.
- Resource, support and direct teams/leaders.
- Ensure all Connect (New Member) classes are equipped, resourced, and led with excellence and that participants receive their clear next step.
- Facilitate regular meetings with all team leaders.
- Resource all teams with necessary scheduling, communication & leadership/training tools.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with budget preparation and accountability.
- Participate in oversight meetings and monthly staff meetings.
- Achieve ministry growth markers year-over-year.
- Maintain compliance with all church policies and procedures.
- Respond to emails and phone calls within a 48-hour time frame.

- Follow the commands of God’s Word such as living justly and loving mercy, tithing, humility in serving others, worshiping alone and with others.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and organization skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Willingness to work after hours if needed.
- Ability to build relationships in order to assess, advise and direct a person’s appropriate next steps.
- Ability to recruit, lead and equip leaders to lead successful teams.
