Liquid Church is seeking a part-time Project Manager to support work primarily tied to our Rock RMS church management system. This role is pivotal in ensuring our Digital Products team creates effective systems for our internal customers to run their ministries with excellence, and creates easy-to-use experiences for our external customers–our congregation.
A part-time position, the schedule is generally Monday-Friday, for a total of 20 hours per week, reporting to the Digital Director.
*** Note: Hours can be split based on personal and professional needs, and some hours may be outside the traditional 9-5 workday with manager approval. Work can be primarily remote if that’s the employee's preference. A weekly virtual team meeting at 10am on Mondays would be required.
Responsibilities
Weekly Task Management
Performs daily intake, review, and assignment of incoming Asana tasks for all digital items (Rock, website, app, etc.)
The review process includes evaluating each request against quarterly team goals and priorities to determine if / when the task can be addressed.
The review process includes following up with the requester (ministry leader) with questions, clarifications, and revisions.
The review process includes editing copy for clarity, grammar, and ensuring key information is included.
The review process includes identifying and expediting urgent requests
The goal is to ensure tasks are ready to be built out once they are assigned.
Creates recurring tasks in Asana for Digital Products team members.
Makes minor edits / adjustments to Digital Products as needed to support workflow and deadlines (e.g., adding dates to Outreach Forms, minor form updates, text edits)
QA & Testing
Digital Products Liaison
Schedules and Oversees Digital Products Team consultation meetings with organizational stakeholders, serving as a liaison between the two groups – able to understand “tech talk” and the inner workings of Rock, while also able to decipher ministry leader’s needs and speak in layman’s terms to create alignment among all parties.
The project manager is responsible for meeting agendas, meeting notes, and funneling information into Asana tasks if needed.
The project manager is responsible for relationship building and is expected to contribute to strategic discussions to help determine the best path forward for stakeholders.
The project manager helps move tasks forward, by following up with ministry leaders to solicit overdue feedback.
The project manager helps identify where additional parties need to be consulted and added as project collaborators.
Sends form submission calendar reminders to Ministry Leaders based on Master Calendar Events, to help facilitate timely submissions.
Keep abreast of new Digital Products technologies to support Digital Products Director of potential Liquid future enhancements.

Qualifications
Education - Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Software Development, Information Technology, or commensurate experience.
Project Management - Ability to build project parameters, timelines, and coordinate with all stakeholders.
Tech Savvy - Adept at learning new tools, such as Rock RMS, Asana, etc. Able to speak in technical terms with teammates.
Organization - Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at once.
Communication - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Communicates with clarity, detail, and empathy.
Relational Ability - Adept at building relationships and good rapport with colleagues across teams.
Excellence - Maintain a high level of excellence and quality in personal interactions with Staff and Volunteers.
