Who you are:
You are a student ministry leader with a passion for helping students grow in a life-changing relationship with Jesus through meaningful small group connections. You enjoy equipping and coaching adult leaders, developing engaging discipleship resources, and creating environments where students can become passionate worshippers, grounded in God’s Word, and rich in authentic relationships. Through strategic programming, leader development, and curriculum creation, you seek to ensure every student has opportunities to belong, grow, and take their next step in faith.
What you'll do:
- Research, curate, and create content for and partner to effectively onboard new small group leaders
- Research, curate, and create content for leader training resources for new and existing Lakepointe Student Serve Team members
- Establish the overall programming for United that will ensure that every student has a dynamic small group experience
- Develop small group experiences and curate/write content for students who want grow deeper in their faith (Rooted)
- Develop small group experiences and curate/write content for new believers to grow in their relationship with Jesus
- Establish the overall programming for events that will set students up to have meaningful small group experience at each event
- Have a presence at each campus providing coaching and feedback on how to accomplish the vision of Lakepointe Students
- Establish the overall programming for Student Connect ensuring that all content has a scope and sequence that will accomplish the objectives of the ministry
Skills & Experience you’ve had:
- Previous experience leading a large student ministry preferred
- Leadership, teaching, counseling education/experience
- Prior supervision of other student pastors preferred
