The Lead Pastor of VC Sawmill serves as the primary spiritual, missional, and organizational leader of a thriving congregation in the northwest Columbus region. This leader will provide vision, pastoral leadership, biblical teaching, and strategic direction while cultivating a healthy, disciple-making church that reaches its community and advances the Kingdom of God.
VC Sawmill is a well-established congregation with a strong volunteer culture, experienced leaders, and significant opportunities for growth and impact. The Lead Pastor will equip and develop leaders, strengthen ministry teams, engage the surrounding community, and build the systems and structures necessary for long-term health, multiplication, and mission. Success in this role requires a leader who can inspire people around a compelling vision, develop others for ministry, and shepherd a diverse, multigenerational congregation with wisdom, humility, and faith.
Working collaboratively within the broader Vineyard Columbus network, the Lead Pastor will faithfully steward shared values, ministry practices, and organizational systems while building the leadership culture, governance strength, and ministry capacity needed for the next season of ministry. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of an influential congregation and extend its impact throughout the northwest Columbus region and beyond.
About us:
Vineyard Columbus exists to develop multiethnic communities of disciples who experience God, love one another, and partner with Christ to heal the world.
As a church, we are committed to being a great friend to our city and to building communities that reflect Christlike unity while celebrating the diversity of our congregation and staff.
Beyond weekend services at multiple locations across Central Ohio, we serve our neighbors through the Vineyard Community Center, which provides free health clinics, food assistance, ESL classes, Value Life resources, and other practical support—all opportunities to share the love of Jesus in tangible ways.
Who we're looking for:
