Direct Report: Lead Pastor
Department: Creative Arts Job Title: Creative Arts Pastor
Purpose:
The Creative Arts Pastor crafts environments where people can encounter Jesus and express their lifestyle of worship for Him in song and service. Discipling the attendees and the volunteers of the church to true worship.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Oversee worship, production, and creative elements of services.
- Serve as a pastoral leader: Model spiritual maturity, shepherd those entrusted to their care, and support the church’s mission, leadership, and staff culture.
- Build healthy volunteer teams, equip emerging leader, and establish clear expectations, communication, and processes across worship and production.
- Oversee production and creative service content
- Provide leadership for sound, lighting, video, stage design, and sermon series bumpers
- Build and maintain teams in all aspects of worship and tech including streaming, sound, lights, and propresenter
- Shape the weekend service experience and bid event services
- Partner with the Lead Pastor to coordinate worship, creative elements, transitions, and special moments that support the message and mission of the church.
- Plan and lead worship services, oversee song selection and rehearsals
- Recruit, develop, and shepherd musicians and vocalist
- Function as primary worship leader for weekend services
- Create a pipeline for the development of future worship and tech leaders
- Ableton Track preparation and communication for band
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight of youth and Celebrate Recovery worship
- Coach and equip their worship leader, offering musical, theological, and team development guidance without assuming regular planning, rehearsals, or platform responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned
- Oversee creation and implementation of the budget
- Develop systems and structures that will create a healthy, God-honoring worship ministry culture
- Oversee the online ministries

- Assist with pastoral care needs of the Church and keep that team apprised on all related issues.
- Be available as needed to assist in crisis situations, hospital visits, funerals, and/or weddings.
- Participate in “on call ministry” rotation as needed.
- Attend Sunday services (30/30 rule: arriving 30 minutes before volunteers arrive and leaving 30 minutes after services end or until the attendees have left) and assist at events as needed.
Set an example by attending all church events.
