Objective
The Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the church’s ongoing data initiatives by assisting with the documentation of existing applications and data sources. This work will contribute directly to the creation of a comprehensive data warehouse, improving data accessibility and decision-making. In addition, this position will partner with the finance team to facilitate the adoption and integration of Copilot tools, helping to drive efficiency and enhance workflow processes throughout the ministry.
Key Responsibilities
- Document existing applications and data sources to support the development of a unified data warehouse
- Collaborate with IT and other ministry teams to gather and analyze system requirements for improved data accessibility
- Assist in integrating Copilot tools within ministry workflows to enhance efficiency and streamline processes
- Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation to ensure system transparency and continuity
- Support the creation of training resources and facilitate knowledge sharing for new technology adoption across ministries
- Participate in process reviews to identify opportunities for workflow optimization and recommend actionable improvements
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data sources used for reporting and analytics purposes
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for compliance and audit needs, adhering to organizational standards
- Partner with IT and Data teams to translate ministry and operational needs into data requirements for the centralized data warehouse
- Capture data definitions, business rules and critical metrics required for warehouse development
- Assist with data validation, testing and quality checks to ensure accurate reporting and analytics
- Create or help create training materials and conduct training sessions for IT deliverables

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, data analysisor a similar role
- Exposure to automation tools or AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) preferred
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with work hours Monday-Friday.
The church has several big events, (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands
This role is primarily sedentary and requires extended periods of sitting and working at a computer, including prolonged screen use. Occasional walking, light lifting of files or office materials and occasional bending/standing may be required.
Ministerial Exception
The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
