ROLE SUMMARY
The Bridge Students Associate Director will be responsible for assisting with a variety of programs, initiatives, teams, and processes that support Bridge Students. They will champion the Mission of Bridge students to help students be with Jesus and become like Him for the sake of the world. The ideal candidate is a high-capacity team player who supports vision with clarity, energy, and follow-through.

Spiritual & Missional Alignment
- A strong and growing personal commitment to Jesus Christ
- A clear calling to student ministry and a genuine love for students and families
- Alignment with the mission, vision, and theological convictions of The Bridge Church.
- Fulfillment of The Bridge membership requirements, including modeling joyful generosity through tithing
Leadership & Ministry Competencies
- Ability to understand, articulate, and model the leadership behaviors and culture of The Bridge
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop volunteer leaders
- Demonstrated theological clarity appropriate for teaching and discipling students
- Strong relational intelligence and emotional maturity
- Solution-oriented mindset with resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a healthy team culture
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Vision & Strategy (in partnership with the Student Ministry Director)
- Advance the mission of Bridge Students by helping shape and execute ministry strategy.
- Support the ongoing development of discipleship pathways for middle and high school students and their families.
Programming & Events
- Play a key role in planning, executing, and evaluating Bridge Students programming, including but not limited to: Weekly gatherings, Fall Retreat(s), Summer Camp, The X, Bridge Students by Bridge Students, and Bridge Students Leadership Team.
- Ensure excellence, clarity, and intentional discipleship outcomes across all programs.
Volunteer Leadership Development
- Help recruit, train, and care for volunteer leaders.
- Contribute to a volunteer culture marked by encouragement, ownership, and alignment.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to help leaders thrive spiritually, relationally and missionally.
Teaching & Discipleship
- Serve as an active member of the Bridge Students Teaching Team
- Contribute to sermon and series development and scope and sequence planning
- Teach regularly throughout the year
- Collaborate with Creative and Production teams to develop supporting content and experiences
Communication & Parent Partnership
- Oversee and contribute to Bridge Students communication efforts, including social media and digital touchpoints
- Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with ministry vision and values
- Strengthen partnerships with parents and guardians through intentional communication, care, and support
Systems & Operations
- Help develop, refine, and maintain key ministry systems, including:
- First-time guest follow-up
- Volunteer onboarding and training
- Leader care and communication
- Event and program workflows
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements that increase clarity and sustainability
SCHEDULE: Sunday - Thursday HOURS: 40+ hrs (available for special events, church meetings, etc)
STAFF LEVEL: Associate Director, reports to Student Ministry Director
