The Events Director plays a dynamic leadership role in creating highly engaging, well-executed events that inspire people to connect to God, connect to others, and take next steps in their faith. In our highly collaborative and vibrant culture, this role ensures that every gathering, from large weekend celebrations to midweek ministry events is intentional, incredibly welcoming, and deeply aligned with the life-changing mission of our church.

Key Responsibilities:
Ministry Alignment
- Passionately champion the vision that every single event is a powerful ministry opportunity.
- Collaborate closely with our incredible ministry leaders to shape events that are highly engaging, warmly welcoming, and deeply spiritually meaningful.
- Creatively help incorporate clear and compelling next steps (serving, groups, outreach) into every event experience.
Planning & Coordination
- Oversee the dynamic planning and execution of church-wide events, including unforgettable holiday services, impactful outreach events, key ministry gatherings, and milestone moments like Weddings & Funerals.
- Build and manage the church-wide events calendar in close collaboration with ministry leaders across the entire church.
- Establish clear timelines, planning processes, and proactive communication leading up to each event.
- Continuously evaluate and boldly improve event effectiveness to raise the bar every time.
Execution & Operations
- Oversee all behind-the-scenes logistics including scheduling, room setup, vendors, and seamless coordination across teams.
- Foster an incredible spirit of teamwork by ensuring seamless alignment between ministries, communications, facilities, and production teams.
- Anticipate needs, creatively solve problems, and ensure every event runs flawlessly from preparation through completion.
- Champion and maintain an exceptionally high standard of excellence in guest experience and overall environment.
Volunteer & Team Collaboration
- Help onboard, train, and genuinely support volunteers, ensuring they feel valued, clear, prepared, and fully set up to succeed.
- Actively assist in identifying where volunteers can best serve and thrive based on their unique strengths.
- Provide clear, timely, and encouraging communication to teams leading up to and during events.
- Foster a vibrant, joyful culture of strong collaboration across all staff and ministry teams.
Systems & Communication
- Help develop and maintain smart, simple, and effective systems for event requests, planning, and follow-through.
- Ensure communication is always clear, timely, and consistent across every team involved.
- Constantly look for opportunities to improve clarity, efficiency, and execution, always pushing toward greater impact.

- Experience in event planning, coordination, or a related field (church experience is a plus, not required).
