Summary of Position:
- Leads and empowers echoKIDS Coordinators, Coaches and echoKIDS Leaders to provide great experiences in fun and safe environments on Sundays while partnering with parents to create community and partnership for their families.

Description of Responsibilities:
1. Grow, Care, and Equip echoKIDS Sunnyvale volunteer team
Build and lead volunteer teams who help kids say Yes to Jesus by relationally connecting with and reaching kids on their level. Equip echoKIDS Service Coordinators to lead Sunday teams and echoKIDS Coaches to help the leaders to teach with excellence and fun.
Hold monthly echoKIDS First Steps interest meeting. Keep the Rock Database System updated weekly, ensuring background checks and DT covenants are up to date, following up with pipeline requests to join the volunteer team, and taking them through the steps of the onboarding process.
Equip echoKIDS Schedule Coordinator to schedule and confirm Sunday volunteers using the Rock Database System to make sure that all roles are staffed with the correct number of volunteers by Thursdays at 5pm.
Care, Disciple, Train, and Equip volunteers to adequately lead kids to say Yes to Jesus, to partner with parents, to share the message of God’s love in a fun, safe, and age-appropriate environment. Knowing that each volunteer is operating from a healthy and overflowing relationship with Jesus.
2. Sunnyvale echoKIDS Sunday Experience
Oversee that Coordinators, Coaches, and Leaders are providing a fun and amazing experience each Sunday- with echoKIDS classrooms, check-in, and echoKids guest experience functions. Ensure every echoKids environment is clean, refreshed, and Sunday-ready weekly.
Equip the volunteer team to lead all areas of the Sunday experience freeing you up from the classroom to oversee, problem solve, and connect with families.
3. Weekly Sunday Follow-up
Welcome First Time Guest kids with a personalized postcard and parents with a text message video each week.
Encourage, coach, and offer feedback to volunteers to ensure they are celebrated for the wins, and growing in the areas of development.
Connect with Campus Pastor regarding First Time Families, amazing volunteers, and stories from the classroom that can be used to spread vision and connection for the campus.
4. Curriculum and Central Support
Attend, strategize, and contribute to the vision of echoKids alongside Central and other Campus teams.
Plan, prepare, train, and equip campus echoKids volunteer teams on the best way to leverage weekly curriculum for the Sunnyvale campus.
Ensure Parent Cue App is up to date and parents are being equipped with information on how to access and use to spiritually guide their children.
5. echoKIDS Events
Help plan and manage campus and central events by working with staff and volunteers. Example of the types of events to help lead:
- Encounter Nights for Kids
- Child Dedications
- E3 echoKIDS Leaders Gathering
- Kids Baptism Class - every other month
- Easter
- Christmas
- Move-up Day
- At the Movies/Block Party
- Outreach Events
6. Weekly Staff and Prayer Meetings
Attend all staff meetings and prayer gatherings on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and as otherwise directed by the Campus Pastor.
7. Purchasing and Expense/Budget Management
Partner with the Campus Pastor to help plan for and prepare the echoKIDS
Sunnyvale budget. Track and submit expenses, receipts, and reimbursements weekly by Tuesday at 1pm.
8. Ministerial Support
Willing to support or perform ministerial duties, including:
- Welcoming and following-up with First Time Guest families
- Praying and giving spiritual advice for volunteers on the echoKIDS team and families
- Leading others to worship by helping them serve with their gifts
- Teaching and leading Echo Groups
- Sharing the Gospel message with clarity and age appropriate lessons
- Supporting Parents as they lead their children spiritually; through Child Dedication ceremonies, Kids Baptism classes, prayer and resources
- Performing baptisms, serving communion, performing wedding ceremonies and funerals.
