Our Founder

Craig McKown started HR.church to help churches navigate the complex challenges of staffing, structure, and culture.

As the Lead Pastor of Strategy at The Bridge Church from 2019 to 2024 and the Executive Pastor from 2011 to 2018, Craig served, led, and built The Bridge from a community of a couple hundred to a multisite church of a few thousand. Craig has honed his craft at architecting staff structure and systems, leading through major leadership transitions, spearheading multiple building projects, launching a residency program, and overseeing multi-site strategy and expansion. He is currently serving as the executive pastor at Southall Church in Franklin, TN.

BUT, what he is most proud of is finding, serving, developing, empowering, and sending some of the best people to other churches, contexts, and careers that are making a lasting Gospel impact around the world.
