General Description
The Local Missions and Outreach Coordinator will be an ambassador for Southall’s vision by cultivating relationships within our local communities. This person will ensure that we are thinking creatively and strategically about how we are serving and partnering in the community and empowering the body to engage in service.
Essential Job Functions
- Be an ambassador for Southall’s vision by cultivating relationships within our local communities.
- Work with our Kids and Students teams to develop and foster relationships with our local schools.
- Serve as a key point of contact for our local missions’ partners.
- Fully responsible for planning and executing Southall Serves.
- Mobilize the church to participate in local missions’ outreach events (such as the Leiper’s Fork Parade and City of Franklin festivals)
- Responsible for the planning and executing of all Southall church events (such as Fireworks at Southall, Southall Serves, Summer at Southall).
- Build cross-functional relationships within the organization to promote a strong collaborative effort for all events and outreaches.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Leadership Development.
