Objective
Support the community that seeks to glorify God by leading this generation of students to both discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ and make disciple-making disciples through relevant and engaging ministry environments and relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowship
- Lead and support Student Ministry services on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings, building consistent relationships with students and serve teams
- Execute and continuously improve Student Ministry strategy at the campus—including worship, small groups, events and next steps
- Partner with the central teaching team to support monthly planning and content alignment
- Recruit, develop and care for serve staff team through consistent relationship building, training and effective huddle environments
- Oversee guest follow-up and next-steps processes, including first-time guests, decision follow-up and ongoing care for students and families
- Build relationships with students on campus and in the community, supporting outreach efforts that connect students to their schools and invite new students
- Develop student leaders through discipleship, leadership opportunities and intentional serving pathways
- Plan and lead relational environments outside of regular services to build community and engagement
- Provide ministerial care to students and families and partner with parents to support student discipleship
- Support campus and central Student Ministry initiatives, including events and assist in developing interns as needed

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Two to three years of experience working with students required
- Experience in a multisite student ministry environment strongly preferred
Expected Hours of Work
Work Hours Expectations: 40 hours or more.
Schedule Expectations: Typically, Sunday through Thursday, with regular responsibilities including Wednesday nights, Sunday mornings, student team meetings, camps, mission tripsand engagement within local schools and the surrounding community, with flexibility required based on the ministry needs
The church has several big events (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment/Physical Demands
This role operates in a professional office environment as well as offsite locations such as campuses, schools, retreats, camps and mission trips, with regular travel required. This is an active role requiring the ability to stand, walk and engage in activities for extended periods of time, occasionally lift and transport materials up to 25 pounds and regularly use a computer and other technology. The position also requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and extended hours based on ministry needs.
Ministerial Exception
The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
