JOB SUMMARY
The Welcome Desk Attendant serves as the host/hostess to all visitors at the Northwest Campus This person is often a guests first interaction (whether in person or on the phone) with Traders Point and as such we want to create a great an experience where every guest feels welcomed, valued, and seen.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may be responsible for training of volunteers.
DUTIES/PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS
- Greets all guests and vendors as they come in, engage relationally, and inform correctly.
- Responds to all inquiries with a servants heart, professionalism, and efficiency.
- Provides general information, assistance, and direction to guests as needed.
- Monitors the lobby and entrance area for cleanliness and safety.
- Performs light clerical duties as requested.
- Supports the Guest Experience Team as needed.
- Answers the phone and transfer calls to the appropriate staff member.
- Receives and distributes mail.
- Receives deliveries and notifies recipients.
- Provides general staff support as needed.
- Attends monthly All Staff meetings.
- Maintains familiarity and knowledge of the Traders Point website.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Full or Part Time: Part-Time
Work Schedule: available to work evenings and some weekend shifts - approximately 10 hours per week
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- A positive tone when answering the phone
- Attention to detail
- Active listening skills
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn basic computer programs- Teams, and Outlook Email being of primary use.
PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous receptionist experience preferred, but not required.
