Position Summary

The Worship Pastor will provide spiritual and creative leadership for all worship ministries of the church. This individual will cultivate a Christ-centered worship culture, lead worship services, develop volunteers, and work closely with church leadership to support the church's vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and lead worship services for Sunday gatherings and special events.
Recruit, train, and disciple worship team members and volunteers.
Coordinate musicians, vocalists, and production teams.
Select songs and create worship sets that align with sermon themes and church values.
Oversee worship ministry scheduling and rehearsals.
Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders on church-wide initiatives.
Maintain and oversee worship equipment and technology.
Foster spiritual growth and community within the worship ministry team.

Qualifications

A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a strong personal faith and Christian character.
Agreement with the church's statement of faith and core values.
Minimum of 3 years of worship leadership experience.
Strong vocal and instrumental abilities.
Experience leading and developing volunteer teams.
Knowledge of worship planning software and presentation tools such as Planning Center and ProPresenter.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Ministry, Worship, Music, or a related field.
Experience in a multi-generational church environment.
Familiarity with audio, lighting, and livestream technologies.
