Objective
The goal of this position is to equip the saints for the work of ministry and to disciple the faith family of The Church of Eleven22®. This role will partner with the corresponding Campus Pastor to shepherd the flock and will report directly to the Campus Pastor. It will also collaborate closely with all campus staff and central ministry leaders, as outlined in the responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Model spiritual intensity and lead in the execution of weekend worship gatherings
- Lead in stage communication as requested
- Minister to congregants through prayer and anointing
- Prepare worship spaces for worship services
- Lead in front row worship culture by sitting in the front row and lead in the modeling of God-honoring worship
- Conduct general ministerial responsibilities alongside the Campus Pastor and ministerial staff to shepherd and care for the local congregation
- Aid in the officiating and execution of weddings and celebrations of life
- Devote time weekly to hospital visitations, ministerial counseling and ministering to those in need
- Provide the sacraments of baptism and communion
- Lead in the disciple-making journey of the congregants of the church by helping individuals identify their spiritual gifts and equipping the saints with the skills necessary to accomplish the ministry at hand
- Teach baptism and Growth Track classes and facilitate discover groups
- Meet weekly with serve staff—pray with, disciple and empower them for ministry
- Lead servestaff huddles at each service to educate, informand inspire the serve staff
- Collaborate with Central Ministries to deliver ministry at the local level through the equipping of congregants
- Key central partners to include Disciple Groups Director, Connections Director, Welcome Director, Care Pastor, Operations Director, Facilities Director, Safety & Security Director, Events & Hospitality Director
- Build, lead and shepherd serve staff teams to accomplish the ministry objectives of:
- Welcome
- Disciple groups
- Connect
- Nehemiah
- Campus Operations (IT, Facilities, Weekend Operations, Events)
- Lead in the stewardship of campus resources
- Oversight of staff and campus calendar
- Manage campus budget, facilities and office administration
- Ensure Campus Pastor has assistance in calendaring and communication with key campus leadership (Deacons, vision ambassadors, covenant members, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
- 3-5 years of ministry leadership experience, including experience managing teams, volunteers and/or ministry areas
- Bachelor’s degree required
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is full-time with expected work hours to include all worship gathering times (typically Thursday and Sunday).
- Weekly rhythms:
- Monday, Wednesday and Thursday work in and around campus office
- Tuesday work in and around Central offices located at San Pablo Rd and Beach Blvd. in Jacksonville, FL
- Nights as needed for events and disciple groups
The church has several big events, (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and in and out of congregant'shomes.This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.
Physical Demands
This role is a primarily sedentary role, but some activity is required surrounding event set-up and execution. Some travel will be required.
Ministerial Exception
The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
