OVERVIEW

The Bridge Church is a multisite church in Middle Tennessee that exists to be with Jesus and become like Him - for the sake of the world. The Bridge Church is located in a growing community where the one of the highest population is birth - 10 years old. In order to seize opportunity in reaching kids with the gospel and have ministry that can have maximum impact we want to see our Kids Ministry become a missional/evangelistic force in the city. This has created a growing need for an Elementary Kids Coordinator to invest in leaders and show kids the love of Jesus in creative and fun ways.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Elementary Coordinator will be responsible for relational development with leaders, equipping small group leaders and volunteers in their roles, creating a fun and creative environment for kids to hear the Gospel, and innovate new ways to resource families as they disciple their children. This role requires a passion for the mission of Kids Ministry, but more importantly, the person in this role must be passionate to equip people with the resources they need and develop them to be leaders in ministry.

Articulate the Gospel in a way kids can understand and enables them to grow in their faith
Creative spirit and passion to find new ways to present the Gospel to kids
Feel comfortable learning new technology

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with the Bridge Kids Director to recruit, train, and onboard leaders/volunteers to our Elementary Kids team.
Create and maintain a vibrant and healthy team culture (fun, positive, organized).
Align K-5th with the other age segments of Bridge Kids while working to strengthen, equip, and disciple elementary volunteers and children
Run point on the Elementary curriculum (K - 5th) including activity prep, lesson writing as needed, elementary ProPresentor, and large and small group elements.
Help the team organize and run elementary related events (such as Kindergarten Bible Presentation, 5th Grade Celebration, Kids Camp, etc.)
Run point and take ownership of the Elementary ministry areas (K - 5th) both on Sundays and during the week, aiming to improve programming and environments in the future
Work to improve a better experience for 4-5th Graders that aligns with our Students ministry to assist in an easy transition from Bridge Kids to Bridge Students
Update and improve The Spot location for Bridge Kids
Assist in having kids discipleship and baptism conversations
Attend all weekly Kids Ministry staff meetings, monthly all staff meetings, and others as needed.
Other duties as needed for the Bridge Kids team.
