General Description
The Hospitality Manager position is responsible for the planning and oversight of the Hospitality Ministry, including the kitchen, coffee bar, internal catering needs, and volunteer relationships.
Essential Job Functions
- Plan and execute the menu for Sundays, Wednesdays, and Special Events.
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Create and oversight of the ministry budgets.
- Develop and maintain a volunteer plan for the ministry, including scheduling, training and appreciation.
- Oversee ordering and shopping for hospitality supplies.
- Create and oversee a cleaning and maintenance schedule for hospitality facilities and equipment according to health guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with ministries for catering and hospitality needs for special events.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Director.
Qualifications
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience with food preparation and food safety is required.
- Experience in menu planning is required.
- Experience with food cost management is required.
- Experience in ordering is required.
- Experience leading a team is required.
- Experience as a catering chef is preferred.
