Objective
The Kids Discipleship Minister is responsible for overseeing discipleship in the Eleven22 Kids Ministry at their assigned campus, equipping and developing serve staff to execute Eleven22 Kids service gatherings and partnering with parents to be the primary disciple-makers of their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Eleven22 Kids Ministry at assigned campus and guide the disciple-making journey of Eleven22 Kids staff by equipping and supporting them to effectively carry out the ministry
- Conduct general ministerial responsibilities alongside the Kids Director and Eleven22 Kids ministerial staff to shepherd and care for Eleven22 families
- Lead the disciple-making journey of serve staff by coaching and equipping them with the skills necessary to accomplish the ministry at hand
- Lead the serve staff lead team and support the discipleship of serve staff at assigned campus
- Champion and model clear vision, values and culture for serve staff and staff teams
- Meet weekly with serve staff to pray, disciple and empower them for ministry
- Oversee the care of serve staff to develop discipleship relationships
- Lead servestaff huddles at each service to educate, inform and inspire serve staff
- Partner with the Eleven22 Kids Operations Minister in recruiting strategies for the Eleven22 Kidsteam at assigned campus
- Support the planning and execution of Eleven22 Kids Ministry events
- Assist in the development and execution of Eleven22 Kids Ministry curriculum that supports discipleship and ministry goals
- Partner with parents in raising the next generation of kids to discover and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ
- Model discipleship by being a disciple-making disciple
- Oversee the discipleship of kids 0–5th grade at assigned campus
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- One to two years of experience in ministry
- Experience working with children in multiple settings
Expected Hours of Work
Work Hours Expectations: 40 hours or more.
Sunday through Thursday (hours may vary based on church needs and may include full weekends).
The church has several big events (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment/Physical Demands
This role is based in a church and campus ministry environment and includes classroom, worship and office settings. The position involves regular interaction with children, families, serve staff and other staff, with work occurring primarily indoors and occasionally outdoors during ministry events.
Physical requirements include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, move throughout the campus, lift or carry materials up to 25 pounds and use standard office equipment, including extended computer use. The role may require evenings, weekends and special events as part of ministry responsibilities. Some travel may be required.
Ministerial Exception
The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
